This project was a complete remodel of our clients' Kitchen and adjacent Powder Room. This beautiful mid-century style home features high ceilings, so it was important to add depth and warmth through the selected materials. We landed on the perfect shade of green for the custom cabinetry, and paired it with natural Carrara marble. A custom plaster hood frames the clients' range with storage on either side, and is adorned with the perfect vintage painting. Separate from the grand eight foot island, this Kitchen also features the sweetest eat-in nook. We worked with a local upholsterer to create a suspended back cushion from a vintage inspired stripe fabric across a bronze rail system.
The Powder Room was all about understated drama. Cream plastered walls pick up on all the different shades of the handmade wall tiles. Old meets new with an Italian vintage mirror, flanked by modern sconces and a handmade concrete sink.
